Asha
CREATIVE DIRECTOR & FOUNDER
Asha is the Creative Director and founder of Little & Fox, with a deep-rooted passion for interiors, fabrics, colour and pattern. Over a decade ago, she started Little & Fox from her garage while raising four children, turning her love of interiors into what has grown into one of New Zealand’s most loved interior design firms.
Asha’s approach to design is expressive, layered and full of personality. She embraces bold colour, pattern and texture, creating spaces that feel warm, considered and individual rather than confined to conventional design formulas. For Asha, the most successful interiors are those that tell a story and feel truly personal to the people who inhabit them.
Her passion for interiors began long before Little & Fox, with a natural instinct for combining fabrics, furnishings and unexpected details. Her earlier career included running a café in Taupō and training as a commercial pilot, but it was her love of design that ultimately led her to build Little & Fox.
Today, Asha continues to shape the creative direction of Little & Fox, bringing her distinctive eye and love of beautiful, character-filled interiors to every project.
Nelly
INTERIOR DESIGN LEAD
Nelly leads the Little & Fox Interior Design team, bringing a fresh, modern perspective shaped by her background in commercial design. Her approach balances contemporary style with warmth, creating spaces that feel both considered and inviting.
She loves working closely with clients to understand how they want a space to look, feel and function, then bringing together colour, texture, furnishings and detail to create an interior that feels uniquely theirs. From large-scale commercial projects to cosy home renovations, Nelly brings creativity, practicality and a thoughtful eye to every project.
Her design perspective complements Asha’s distinctive and expressive style, bringing another layer of creativity to the Little & Fox approach and ensuring every project feels individual to the client.
Nikki
INTERIOR DESIGNER
Nikki brings over 10 years of experience running her own successful interior design business, with a strong understanding of residential design, renovations and creating spaces that are both beautiful and practical. As a serial renovator, she loves the process of transforming a space, from developing the overall vision through to choosing colour, materials, furnishings and the finer details that give a home its personality.
With a natural eye for colour and a passion for thoughtful, layered interiors, Nikki brings a creative and practical perspective to every project. She enjoys creating spaces that feel welcoming, personal and lived in, with a balance of style and functionality.
Based at Little & Fox in Havelock North, Nikki brings her love of interiors, colour and beautiful spaces to the team. When she’s not immersed in design, you’ll most likely find her in the garden.

Resene Colour Award
Conceived as boutique accommodation, North Tree Cottage evolved into a forever home. Defined by its hand-painted checkerboard floors and a palette inspired by the Hawke's Bay landscape, the home layers rich greens, warm neutrals, and earthy tones to create inviting, character-filled interiors that celebrate colour, craftsmanship, and timeless design.

Bedroom of The Year
An off-grid retreat that redefines rural luxury. Layered with charred cedar, handcrafted crockery, Monmouth Glass pendants, Seneca linens, and artwork by Robyn Fleet, this 30-square-metre sanctuary celebrates texture, craft, and sustainability. Inspired by Land Rover design principles, it’s elevated into something intimate, where simplicity meets luxury and every detail tells a story.
