The design of this rug was inspired by Chinese symbolism.  Chinese Garden of Virtue incorporatess plum blossom, orchids, bamboo and chrysanthemums, as an elegant backdrop to a peacock which symbolises dignity and beauty.As well as a soaring crane, representing a long and happy life. The neutral grey base grounds the other colours of the birds, flowers and foliage, while gold etching and a  border add warmth and depth to this elegant, uplifting design.
