Surkh 260x120cm Vintage Shirazi Rug

The Surkh Shirazi Rug is a genuine vintage hand-knotted rug from the villages surrounding Shiraz in southern Iran. Woven around the 1970s using premium sheep's wool and traditional natural dyes, it embodies the bold tribal character and enduring craftsmanship for which Shirazi rugs are celebrated.

A rich palette of faded crimson and warm earth tones frames a striking sequence of geometric diamond medallions, surrounded by intricate floral borders and traditional tribal motifs. The beautifully aged colours and soft patina speak to decades of careful use, giving the rug warmth, authenticity, and timeless appeal.

Measures 260 x 120cm.
